Part of the Łańcut Park

Part of the collection: Photography

Popularization note

The photograph depicts the pool at the tennis court, the pergola of which is draped in wisteria and can be seen in the background. The court was built in the 1920s, at the site of the Palm House damaged during World War I. From the side of the ring, the court is surrounded by a pergola – with battens laid out on brick pillars at the ground floor, with a wooden, open work hand rail, and centrally above the entrance, with a wooden open work dome. In front of the pergola, there is an eight-sided pool surrounded by flower beds with a centrally arranged bronze figure of a boy with a snake. Aldona Cholewianka-Kruszyńska
