Portrait photography

The rectangular photograph shows a middle-aged woman in bust. She is Laura Ford, a woman with a characteristic nose and protruding chin. She has short wavy hair with a right-side parting. A string of pearls can be seen around the woman's neck. In the bottom right corner, there is an inscription in black ink reading “To dear Betka with best love Laura”. The reverse is covered with fabric with a support allowing to place the photo upright. It was acquired from the collection of the Potocki family of Łańcut in 1944.
