Certificate of awarding the honorary badge of the 10th Mounted Rifle Regiment and official acknowledgement to the starost Tadeusz Łodziński for his chairmanship in foundation committee of the banner, which the Regiment received from the community of the Łańcut district. The donation of the banner to the 10th Mounted Rifle Regiment was initiated by a group of residents in 1922. In addition to the starost, the new committee comprised the Ordinate – Count Alfred Potocki as the honorary chairman, mayor of Łańcut Stanislaw Cetnarski and 15 citizens as committee members. The presentation of the banner took place on the Regiment’s Holiday on 29 April 1923 – the anniversary of the arrival of the 1st Squadron to Poland. During the important ceremony, Major General Franciszek Latinik spoke on behalf of the President of the Republic of Poland Stanislaw Wojciechowski. After the consecration of the banner, the Regiment took the oath, followed by a parade. The banner was also co-founded by the city of Leżajsk, which at the time was a part of the Łańcut district. This can be seen thanks to symbols on the banner – the image of Our Lady of Leżajsk and the city's coat of arms. Next to it there are symbols of Łańcut – the coat of arms of the city, featuring St Michael the Archangel, as well as the image of its patron saint – Saint Stanislaus of Szczepanów. On the certificate, in addition to the signatures of the representatives of the particular units, one can found the officer’s badge – probably one of the first versions officially approved in 1925. It was minted in the engraving workshop of W. Gontarczyk in Warsaw. Joanna Kluz
