View of Łańcut Castle The painting is executed in the lean tempera on paper technique and derives from the Potocki collection, the former owners of the Łańcut Castle. It presents a view of the castle from the western side, from the side of the south-western tower. The castle (before the neo-Gothic reconstruction) is presented in a perspective and shown together with defence walls, embankments (as a stronghold) and a moat. The north-western tower is visible almost in full, with the armoury (arsenal), the western section of the moat with a gate building and a drawbridge. The moat is lined with linden tree alleys. Next to the north-western tower (the library pavilion does not exist yet), there is a gate leading to the garden section. The buildings of the castle and the arsenal are beige and pink, the trees and the grass are green and grey. The castle has two floors, covered with a gabled roof, with an alley leading to the main entrance from the gate building, and another one branching off to the arsenal. There is water in the moat. The painting is dated at approx. 1830 and made by an unknown painter. It can be viewed in the Room Under the Views on the ground floor of the Łańcut Castle.
