RIDING CURB BIT, Latchford, London, 19th/20th century
A riding curb bit, referred to as "Cherry Roller" in English terminology, with fixed cheekpieces and additional short arms that are movable on screws, characteristic of this type of bit. The mouthpiece has a 5 cm tall port and, on either side, three ¬rotating, convex, rounded rollers.
It comes from the historic equestrian collection of the Potocki family from Łańcut.
