Museum of the history of Polish Jews
Part of the collection: Correspondence from Emilia Endler Ratz
The letter from Roma (her surname is unknown) and Lucyna Herc to Emilia and Marcin Ratz in Russian, on reddish paper (wrapping paper?) folded into a triangle for mailing, three stamps surviving. From the contents: We were so worried about you. Niura wrote us that you are now in difficult material conditions, but this is temporary, of course. I think that we will be able to help you after some time. What can you write about us? Compared to the life we led at the kolkhoz, we have now risen to great heights. You could say that we now live in human conditions.
